On the 5th of December, our classroom was filled with excitement as we hosted our very own Late Late Toy Show! The children brought in their favourite toys from home and had the opportunity to present them to the class.
Each child confidently spoke about why their toy was special and demonstrated how it worked, whether it was a teddy, a superhero figure, or a toy with lights and sounds. There was great enthusiasm and lots of smiles as pupils listened carefully to one another and asked questions about the different toys.
This activity encouraged speaking and listening skills, boosted confidence, and helped the children learn more about sharing and respecting each other’s belongings. It was a joyful and memorable experience for everyone, and our classroom felt like a mini toy show studio for the day!
